For the people also on Facebook, I hope you can see this page. It's the page of hybridizer Peter Jackson from Australia. We can grow LAs here, but they're kind of iffy. I think I want everyone one.

Who here grows LAs?

We don't have it, but Black Gamecock grows well in this area, the same for irises hybridized by Kevin Vaughn.

I think Black Gamecock grows well everywhere, doesn't it? It's a wonder it hasn't taken over the swamps.

I love Kevin Vaughns iris, too.

I love them, but they take a lot of water and fertilizer, and I'm lazy. I love the blues.

I love all of those, but haven't tried growing them here. Some of them are amazing. Its probably a good thing that they don't grow well here, or I would really be in trouble. Smiling
