Name: Dee Stewart Willamette Valley OR Snowpeak Iris
You know after awhile, age gets to each of us, and we are forced to cut back, he wants to do more and more with his hybridizing so he had been warming us all for several years that he was cutting back...
I think that many of the people that do not have computers will still see them because they have friends that do and will show them the lovelies.
If it wasn't for my computer, I wouldn't have any contact with the outside world.
Dee, I agree that age gets to each of us. Too much to care for and not enough time. I really need to cut back. I am going to try to not buy anything this year.
It won't bother me if they are all just on the computer, but so many die hard irisarians just don't use computers. I hate to see them left out, and hope they will go to friends houses to see the pics.
Name: Paul Smith Pleasant Grove Utah Grandchildren are my greatest joy.
We have a CD coming from AIS for one of our UIS meetings after the first of the year. It contains 100+ pictures of newer iris provided by the hybridizers. I've heard that it contains pictures by some of the lesser known growers and I look forward to seeing them.
Ooooooooh Paul -- afterwards, can you abscomb (sp?) with that CD and mail it around to the members here? Or better yet -- burn copies and we can buy them from you to reimburse you for time, blank CD's and postage?
Every day is a second chance. Every day is precious time.
