Hi everyone.
I have been around on ATP and read this Cubits on a regular bases. Thought I should introduce myself so I just don't just jump in. Feels strange to me just to jump in.
Iris growing and collecting is just new to me. Oh sure, I have always had a few noids but never really had many. Well that all changed with Dee's sale and the PNW sale. They are just starting to put on a show. I thought it would be years to see blooms but those big fat rhizomes are pumping out the bloom stalks. I was use to the big box rhizomes. Those are just junk and most always die.
Washington has been my home all my life and I actually live in the house I grew up in. Well I spent 4 years in San Francisco, CA while my DH when to school but that really doesn't count. My 2 boys are both in college so lots of time now to garden. Just love all your pictures.
Hi Julia, yes Spring is upon us.Well, it was over the weekend! Today it's pouring rain and chilly. We do usually get Spring rains though. The Irises are budding up busily, it's so exciting waiting for the first to open!

welcome springcolor you will find a ton of knowledgeable people here and some very talented photographers as well. They are all a fun bunch and you will fit right in with the rest of us.
OK, I will start a thread when the irises decide to open . I guess you don't want to see pictures of buds ! LOL
Should I start it here or somewhere else in the forum?
