Marilyn, I like them all, very nice Pictures. My Plum Pretty Whiskers had drooping falls this year too, but not ususally. Thought maybe it was because it's getting crowded and needs to be separated
Pic from this year, and then pic from last year.

This is the best picture I could get this year, earlier blooms were more droopy then this one. I think the blooms were smaller this year too on mine.

Good color to be attractive plus some contrast to be eye-catching.

I am not fond of space agers, but can take horns if not too long. Our TBs are finished except CT plant 'Charter Oak' is hanging on. Only one stalk this year but did not have to be staked likt a newer plant did.

Exactly right Cinda. If we only had a member in Alaska -- we could make our Iris season six months long!!!! Big Grin Hilarious!

Thanks for the comparison Tom. I will keep my finger crossed for next year. Smiling

I am glad about my later bloom season too. I still have a bunch with big fat buds on them yet to open. Also, still have a lot of pictures to post. I have been outside taking pictures the last 2 days, then we had to go to town for weekly shopping, but just found out I might have to work today, so no free time again.

Anyway, only had 1 seedling bloom this year so I couldn't wait to share it with everyone. It was a bee pod from 'In Your Dreams.'

You said it, Lucy! When my son "works' his hives, and I help, I wear the suit and veil, and he has nothing. the bees always manage to find a way "in" to sting me, and they leave him alone!....Dumb bees !....Arlyn

Grandchildren are my greatest joy.
Marilyn, I would have been delighted to find that in my seedlings. I'm going to check In Your Dreams.

Tom, not planning on registering it, I just like to dab pollen and see what turns out, and this one was a surprise. Hurray!

Paul, In Your Dreams blooms every year, and also has seed pods every year on its own.

There are so many that caught my eye here that I don't think I can list them all! I like Masai Warrior too- what a shocking iris. My Plum Pretty Whiskers gets pinched falls too.
