You must mean this one: Blatant. This is about #4 bloom on it this spring, and the first one that is "tall'! All the others have been "down in the leaves", I think because of the un-settled weather...hot one day, and cold the next?! The buds are kinda' neat looking, too! Quite a few, I hope ! Had a fellow call me yesterday afternoon concerning a visit to see the iris: " When will you be at peak?" he asked, and I told him," The way this year is going, I won't be able to answer that till it's over!"! when he asked about which particular cultivars were in bloom, and I told him, he said "that can't be, those don't bloom at the same time!" I had to explain our "crazy weather year" ! I had given up on seeing a couple of my favorite SDB's this year, and decided they had taken a year off, but one of them opened yesterday, and the other is shooting stalks!?
