I like the color very much ! nice patterning on the falls, and as you said, the branching and bud count look good. The only thing, that to my eye anyway, doesn't quite "click", is the standards are too "Tight", I guess Confused , I'm not sure of the right terms to use, but they need to be a little more opened up. It makes (here again, to my eye) the flower look out of balance, or too "bottom heavy". But what do I know?...Arlyn

OK,that would make a difference! I suppose there are "tricks" used when picking, and transporting, so several buds will open at once when a person gets to the show? Like I said, the color is very nice!....Arlyn

The MDB is charming. Like the gold beards with it. Hugh knows what he can sell & when a color pattern is different than usual plants sell.

I'm really better on medians than talls.

Hello everyone and, once again, I am REALLY sorry not to have at least dropped by to thank all of you for your invaluable help. I guess this little guy has proven its worth, flowering in the MDB class for the whole time it has been on trial in the garden. It's from the same breeding as Blinkin', but has stayed small and in proportion. There really is that sparkly look to the standards in person, too. . . soooo, I guess it has earned its ticket to cross the Atlantic and show what it can do over there. All the best to everyone and I hope your seasons are all going very well!
