This is the SIB that I dug from my Aunt & Uncles old place last year, at just about this time of year. I was worried that it wouldn't survive, because I moved it while it was blooming, and with the hot, dry weather we were having, it looked pretty "tired" all year. But the old gal is tough ,'cause here she is, blooming away quite merrily ! So would anyone like to hazard a guess on what her name might be? or do you think some honeybee deserves the credit? I know mu Uncle planted it in 1982, when they moved "back home", and he was always "religious" about dead-heading.....Arlyn    Sorry about the "fuzzy fotos!" |
