Hi everyone. . .
What do you think of this pink seedling? Too extreme? Thanks for your opinion.

I am one who normally dislikes the very modern look and also most pinks, but I like this one!
Good work.

Grandchildren are my greatest joy.
I love Pink and grow only those things with modern form...wide and ruffled. No old form in my garden but to each his own. Lovely seedling Michele. It looks like it could be one of Ghio's and I mean that as a compliment.

What is it that you think might be too extreme?

I like lots of ruffles if the flower can open correctly. I'm not crazy for heavy lace.

Hi everyone and thanks very much for your comments. . . I wasn't sure how it would be seen by others, since this is a first bloom. I've been told so many times now that it's nearly impossible to market a new pink iris that I'm a bit nervous about setting my creation out there amongst the other pretty confections that already exist, but there you go; mine might please someone just as well as any others. It will be lined out this year (increase is fine) after it goes dormant. Not sure if it's the cooler weather, but the flowers seem to last longer than many others in my garden, older cultivars and recent creations both. Oh, well; time will tell, right? Thanks again!

I forgot to mention that this pink iris is one from a cross that was supposed to offer pink standards and white falls, though it falls a bit short of the mark in this respect. . . try, try again.

Michele, I don't care much for pink Iris, but I would buy that one. I tip my hat to you.

I have seen plenty of flowers much more 'extreme' than that, so no problem.
