Tom and Aryn share the 'blame' for leading me to Cubits. I've grown irises for 50 years..but haven't added new since 1990. I've had my obsession re-kindled and will be hanging around. I live and garden in semi-arid southern Colorado.

Welcome Nan. Good people to blame for sure. Do hang around, but beware as the pictures and descriptions may kindle your desire for more!

Thanks, Dave. Yes, this time I'm going in with eyes wide open. Of course, last time I ordered irises I was teaching folks how to navigate the internet with Archie!!!

Hello Nancy, and welcome to CUBITS..... the 'home' place for irisarians and all around gardeners. The door is always unlatched and there is a light on in the window. Come often, stay long and join the iris family.

Nan, considering when you last ordered irises most of yours should now be in the "historic" class, being over 30 years old since introduction. Check out HIPS, Historic Iris Preservation Society at historiciris.org where you will see the annual sale going on, with members getting a week or two head start on ordering. Temptations all around the forum!

Hi Nan good to have you with us. We are median iris nuts in this house & not good on pictures. the Denver botanic gardens has the smaller ones to see (next year) as their bloom season for those is past.
