There have been quite a few others bloom...but I'm not getting pictures quite fast enough, the darn insects have them all "holed" , in fact, they are even eating the unopened buds ! . I didn't think this would be a very good year for rebloom....a lot of them were dug, and reset, rain was very "sparse" (and I did no "supplemental watering"), and for the most part, I was too busy with other things to "tend" them, as I should. But, it's turned out pretty good !
Nice color going on there Arlyn. My seedling is blooming yet, and they are getting chewed up by insects too. Baby Blessed is still cranking out the blooms too, such a nice little one. Arlyn sent some Belvi Queen this year for my historic bed, so maybe I'll get some blooms next year .
Some more nice fall blooms. We have been warmer then the predictions too, but cold enough to end things anyway. This morning it's not too bad here, maybe you will get a few more days to enjoy the blooms.
We were supposed to have a frost/freeze last night -- but I'm not sure it happened. The Impatiens in pots under the Pecan tree don't look all droopy. Sometimes if it's only a frost, the tree prevents the Impatiens from getting *nipped*. Just to be on the safe side, though, I brought in the pots of double Impatiens that I want to overwinter in order to take cuttings in the spring!!
Every day is a second chance. Every day is precious time.
