this is a copy of my rebloom report....after last night, there will be no more iris, here, till next year
Name: Deborah Orangeburg, SC Zone 8a Don't Sweat the Small Stuff!
I finally got a rebloom last week on what I think is Earl of Essex. I was dumbfounded for a while as my label read Duke of Earl and it was not a match. Also, the bloom was only 15 inches tall, so I kept looking at photos of short irises. It was not until I looked at Arlyn's rebloom list above that it clicked. It came from him and I remember him mentioning that he had probably mislabled it. I took photos with my phone and it's not uploading to my computer anymore. I've got to get that problem resolved, so I can post the photo for confirmation.
Glad to hear you had some "color", Tom !"EOE" is, probably, my most "regular" for rebloom, and I don't rememberit ever "missing" One of it's "downsides", is that (like several other rebloomers")the buds are so numerous, and crowded on the stalk, that many don't open properly /
Yesterday, I finished up the "cutting back & raking off", and I noticed that there were a LOT more stalks starting, than I had thought ! If the weather would have stayed nice for another couple weeks ! Oh, well, "if's, might have's, and maybe's "don't count for much

Bonnie ~ Arlyn does have a good collection of rebloomers.
Re: Spring...to me it seems like a long ways off, since we have not started our rainy season yet. I hope we get lots of snow this year in winter, but not spring! Last year the irises were confused as we had a lovely spring warmup, then snow followed by a freeze in April! Some, but not all, of the irises did not know what to do. Their leaves got stuck after emerging, so half-way emerging..but then stuck that way. And pineappling. Eventually I had to cut those leaves off.
