It's turning out to be another "super doer", Lucy ! Elfin Shadows has been a real good one, but I think Twilight Calm is better Shrug! .I *suppose* that being "bred" in YOUR cold selected (naturally !) the seedlings that did the best, there.......and they do the best HERE , in MY "cold climate" ! I also think that the MTB's (and the SDB's, too) are a little "closer to the original species", than the TB's are (they have been crossed , and re crossed, SO many times, over SO many years, that , basically, they are all "related" Shrug! )....and I think that "closeness to species" translates to a stronger plant, with a higher dose of "hybrid vigor"......I suppose, that if, and when, the medians become more popular, and time marches on.....their blood lines will also become somewhat 'weaker through dilution" Shrug! .
Anyway....ya' did good !

Nice to see all those blossoms. Keep 'em comin'. Have not gotten good pix of any with the storms.

Rain slowed so went out and got a picture of Airy Grace, 1952, Jean Stevens:

Should look amazing in a few days if storms don't ruin the clump.

Could keep going with that lovely story! Do put Romance on my list of desired ones, thank you.

Wife Diane fascinated with the wedding; loved the music. But we had to miss the festivities also, despite being distantly related to both of them.

Things are popping despite the horrible weather again. Some have slowed down while others don't care. Too many now have torn petals or are down on the ground as their stems are not always capable of holding up their weight plus the water now on them.

Camera does not like overcast so auto adjusts brightness thereby losing color deepness. But anyway here is what I got wet for:

Thumb of 2018-05-19/DaveinPA/bba64e King Karl, Sass, but is it too big a white patch on fall?, and Arlyn you are on the list for it

Dave, I'm just too, darn lazy !! I wanted to use a bunch of the ones that bloomed ,so far this year (that are still in bloom), and ,while I was outside snapping pix....I "composed" a very long story,in my head....that's the easy part!, but , when I sat down to DO it..... *Blush* .
I have to take pix,of today's "new arrivals", yet....if I can muster up the ambition Hilarious!

Don't Sweat the Small Stuff!
Arlyn, you need a portable recorder. That way as those stories are dancing around in your head, you don't have to try to remember them later. Whistling Beautiful, unheard of varieties, everyone. Thanks for sharing. Thumbs up
