That is so wonderful Naomi. Some people put off pursuing their dreams and it never happens. I am glad you did something about it. Love your web site and blogs. ![]() |

Same here, Naomi! And I hope you are safe from the fires. |

Thank you ladies, if I jump I might as well jump in with both feet! Thank you Polly, we are. However, half a dozen of my Rubber stamper friends live on the west side and had to evacuate. So far, none of their homes have been lost that we know of. The fires are on the other side of town from me, but the were near my mom too. We were worried on Tuesday, but the threat is past. Hopefully they are getting it controlled.... I'm taking a break from the news tonight.... too distressing.. Hi JB, I'm SO glad you posted your site. I have an Orchid Cactus and just actually found out what it was after having it for over 10 years! How/when does it bloom? It hasn't bloomed since I've had it, but it certainly has grown! I got three little starts from someone and this is what it looks like now. The stand is 3-4 ft tall and the plant is pretty big... but how do I get it to bloom???![]() ![]() Thanks for any info you can share, I'd really appreciate it! I love this thing, but my hubby doesn't care for it much. I had it in a little pot on the edge of the wall in the loft, and it got knocked over on accident... which prompted me to put it in a better/bigger pot, and it really grew then! Knocking it over was the best think to happen to it! ![]() I have it in a different room now, and it gets 4-5 hrs of morning sun. Thank you all so much for your comments. I was beginning to think I was alone here on cubits. Please join my cubits so you can take advantage of the specials I am going to be putting up this Fall. Naomi, I will look up some information on the diso for you and send it to you. If you go on my forum there is a thread there for the Orchid/diso/epi cacti...please post your request there and then I will not forget where I met you. There are so many forums I loose people sometimes and they think I am ignoring them. http://cubits.org/JBsPlants/forums/ I have a link I want you to look at but I do not have it here at the moment. See you on the other thread and then I will put that link up for you as well as tell you about your plant. Nice to meet you. ![]() |
