|I need to add more Burton iris. Very nice. Thanks for sharing pics...a lot of beauties in there.|
|I've forgotten which Burton irises you have, Ed...let me know, and I'll "fill in" from what I have.
Most all the medians...SDB's, especially, need a lot of attention in the beds....grass has "infiltrated", clumps have gotten "too large", etc. My plan is to start on them, as soon as the last TB's are done blooming. Downside is, some folks will be getting two "shipments"...early, and late
|Thank you for sharing & we both like MTBs.
|Arlyn ~ You hard-working man! What a bunch of beauties!!!
You must be the talk of the neighborhood! Your beds and landscape is just beautiful!
|Here's some random stuff, from this morning:
Coral Charm peony starting in !
there's a lot to be said for the old, single peonies !
Duet I found it, Tom
Some call it "Honorable", some "Sans Souci", and my Grandma Ena called it "Bacon and Eggs"
a neglected clump of 'Neglecta"
This came to me as "Pagan Princess", but, it turned out to be a NOID...pretty, though

|Arlyn ~ Just beautiful!|

|a great many irises aren't going to bloom this year. The 2 gardeners are too old to fertilize the beds properly.. shade is spreading mightily.
|The peonies are really kicking in, now, but the irises are still queen of the show !
beardless are starting in, too !
That's All Folks.....doesn't like the wind, today !
This is a fairly new bed...most are just 1 year in the ground, a few are on their 2nd year......looks like it needs dug, already !
|Arlyn ~ Looking great!|
|Nice pics, Peonies look good too. Mine haven't bloomed yet, but will soon.|
|We had a pretty rough thunderstorm, pass through here , about 2:00 AM....looks like a lot of "flopped over flowers", but, I haven't been out, for a close look.|

|Arlyn ~ Beautiful show! Thank you so much for taking the time to snap the pictures and share with us! You have put a lot of effort into your iris endeavors.|
|I hope it’s not the end of your season, Arlyn. I just found this thread. Lots of beauties I have never seen or heard of before. I think I need to add more of these beauties to my beds. Thanks for the beautiful views of your beds. I sure wish I lived in your neighborhood. I’d be happy to dig and help divide any you were willing to share.|
|The season IS almost over.....I'd say the bearded are 'all over', except ...hopefully...for some rebloom. The spuria iris are at 'peak", now, but that big rain, yesterday, sure ruined their appearance ! Spuria stand up to that sort of abuse, pretty well, but, it rained HARD !!|
