Well, the person that wasn't going to order any this year (  ), finally received my last order yesterday. This year I received orders from Iris Whisperer, Rockytop, Mid-America, Stout Gardens, and Keppel (all planted), and my Sutton order came yesterday. I think I will wait until tomorrow to plant them since it is going to be a scorcher again today, already upper 80s, going up to over 90. The plants all look fresh and none of the roots are dried up, so I don't think it will hurt them any. I only ordered 6, but they sent 4 bonuses and 3 of them were new introductions. I am really surprised that it took 6 days for them to get here by UPS from Idaho though. Really can hardly wait until next year to see them bloom. I planted all of them behind my house where I can maybe give them more attention and make sure they get watered more often.  |
