| So Well put Bonnie, you are so gifted in your ability to express things. Dee, I don't think there will ever be a day in your life that you don't miss them. The empty space in your heart will always be there. Your grandson will fill a new part of your heart now. I'm sure that he will bring many smiles to your face, and many moments of joy. Someone I knew while loosing her father to cancer was denying herself any thing she enjoyed, too afraid to be away from him for any length of time. Her father told her, just because I'm dying doesn't mean you have to stop living. Go to the horse show, show your horse like you've never done before, then come back and tell me about it. She did. After he passed, she went on to show her horses to some very impressive results. When she went up to accept her year end awards, she said, "Dad, I'm living my life, for me and for you" A friend of mine who is a Dr. of Psychiatry says, it's not the number of breaths you take in life that matters, it's the number of moment in life that leave you breathless. |
