Name: Dave
south central PA, Zone 6a
The walkaround showed one daff bud and one tulip bud just starting. I find different zones for this particular area, 6 and 7 but probably 6a based on history of living here [seems too cold for many azaleas and rhodo's to get started well].

Did find an iris growing in the middle of the back yard; had been mowed all last summer of course, but had good roots. Dug it out of the sod and put it into a bed. Three years back the young terrier thought new rhizomes were good bones to play with and pulled several out and deposited them in the grass. This one got away for sure. Wonder what variety it is; hope I can find the records for then?

Got some short yellow daylilies [forgot the name I was given] to plant around the place; came from a garden about 500' from me and they are 1/2 the height of mine so maybe the shortness extends to the foliage as well. They will go in tom'w and enough to share with 2 daughters on the street.

Keep the pix coming when things pop; looking good.
