Name: Donna
Well, I finally got some time to poke around the cubits site and found ya'll:lol:

I'm Donna--dmac here/dmac085 at DG for a few years now. I'm in NC, have worked for Wmart since 94 (run Sporting Goods area--like job and coworkers). Have two pets currently though it has been subject to change from time to time. One cat, grey tabby named Velvet by a former roommate. I would have named her Velcro because once her little claws dig into your clothes/skin she's stuck. I also have a rabbit that I found one day out in my containers after Easter--someone abandoned their Easter bunny!
He's orange and white and is a little thug. Couldn't come up with a name so I just referred to him as "Rabbit" so that's what he answers to now.

Iris--love em. Have for a long time but only in the past 3 years or so started buying named iris from reputable sellers. Tried the eBay thing but got burned (as recently as 2009 in a weak moment:lol:). I buy like I have a back 40 but really am in a townhome with one front flower bed, a bjillion container plants and the "new bed" I've taken to digging and planting along the side of my unit:lol:

I've got about 15-20 planted and looks like this won't be a great bloom year. I unfortunately have oodles I didn't get to plant from fall purchases but I'm patient and will give em a soak and get them in the ground and wait. I share with my friends who garden but that really is only a couple of ladies from work. Ya'll here and at DG are my "garden/iris talk" outlet=)

Glad to have found ya'll!
