|Howdy doo, I'm glad to see so many familiar names here already!
For those who don't know me, I'm Evey and I live in Louisiana. My main gardening passions include roses, clematis, irises, and daylilies, though my eclectic suburban yard includes many more types of plants. I am a very experienced gardener with Louisiana irises and have a fairly large collection of them. I'm also fairly experienced with bearded irises now, but I'm very limited in which cultivars will grow here in the hot, humid Deep South. I have a website that highlights the issues related to Deep South growing of beardeds: http://eveysblissfulgarden.com/
I'm a complete newbie with Japanese irises, thanks in large part to the encouragement I received from our Cubit organizer, Polly. (Thanks, Polly!) I also have some baby Siberians that are trying to join my garden, again thanks to Polly. I hope that participation in this forum will help me become successful with both of these types of irises too.
If any of you are also fans of Clematis, I have started a Clematis Cubit. You are all welcome there, if you care to join!
