We wait until early May, then enjoy these smaller irises, our favorite class, by the way. John knew they existed because his grandmother (an AIS member grew the 'old type) known as Iris chameiris, Now those are known as I. lutesens. Then I. pumilas were crossed with tall bearded & we were on the way to many different colors. I apologise for posting my plant, but it is the only one except seedlings in the computer.

Reddy Set (an amoena) white standards--colored falls. I do have an yellow of mine as well. Please Dee, add some other colors.
