Grandchildren are my greatest joy.
So sorry for the problems in your garden. In the great scheme of things it probably isn't significant but for someone who works hard to have beautiful flowers and anticipates a gorgeous garden it is heart breaking. We have weather related problems here but they seem minor to yours. We sometimes have a late hard frost that causes some damage to bloom stalks and it seems like we frequently have wind or rain the night before our shows but not anything that approaches what happened to you. Hang in there and enjoy the wonderful pictures posted here. I know they don't replace a wonderful bloom in your own garden but they might help. Several members of my family were formerly fruit farmers and worried about late frosts every year. Now most have sold their orchards for building lots and no longer worry about late frosts.
