I'm so sorry to hear about your flowers. Yes, in the scheme of things and considering what could have happened, maybe not a big deal. But it's still heartbreaking. Last year we had the weeklong flood just as the tb's were opening. Two years before that a late freeze wiped out all but the latest blooming ones. The various wind storms (like tonight - probably your storms from last night....) this year have not caused too much trouble yet.

I usually give myself a few days off and then just get back into the flower beds, clean up the mess, and try to remember the better years when I had a peak flowering season.

I hope you'll find you still have some later blooming ones that will be ok for you this year.
