|Thanks everyone for being so kind and understanding with my FRUSTRATIONS of my bloom time yet again this year.
Polly, you think someone upstairs is trying to tell me to knock it off and stop killing myself every year out in my gardens?
I can't think of a better way to go that out working in my playground, but I am sick and tired of Mother Nature being so horrible to me and my plants. I've been out working in the yard most of the day and I still don't have my flowerpots with all my bromelaids in them picked up. I can't believe how they got tossed about everywhere. The wind and hail was really something else here. I talked to some friends that just live a couple of miles away and they didn't get any rain or hail, just lots of high winds.
I guess tonight while I'm praying I'll ask the Lord to get Mother Nature to go easy on me and my irises next year. Should next year turn out to be anything like these past few years that's it. I'm giving up, too much work and very little to show for it. If that's the case I'll just start growing house plants again. LOL At least you don't have weeds in them and you don't have to worry about the weather either.
I don't recall the name of this Iris, do you already have this one? If not, I'll share a start with you.
