Thanks, Barb! Unfortunately, I didn't get a pic; I've gotta wait till next month to replace my dead camera, and it has driven me nuts this spring! That plant does indeed look like it will be a lovely clump next spring. It is showing about a dozen fans of varying sizes now, at least half of them the same size as the one that bloomed.

Doris, now that I've looked at your pic again, I think it is a bearded. The angle made it difficult to see the beards.
