Myself I have tried a cross between several Tall Bearded with first a species (John Wood) and then with a Siberians no pod developed.

Even a cross on Night Mood either way took me 5 years for one pod to take...can not say much about the end results.

I even have trouble with Siberian, and Japanese crosses and found out the reason finally. You take the pollen and let it dry at least 24 hours and then apply and you will usually get a pod.

This year I am taking a Siberian both ways with John Wood to see if this will work with they pollen being allowed to dry for 24 hours or longer...

Never be worried about putting out questions there that we have not seen, you might not get one reply but you will never know unless you ask and try C:) Thank you for asking, made me think.
