Grandchildren are my greatest joy.
You will find that opinions vary somewhat on many issues, transplanting, summer watering, fertilizing, etc. I had a good friend here who had over 400 iris and started transplanting right after bloom season. He grew wonderful rhizomes and had a high percentage of bloom the following year. I need to redo some beds to get ready for the things I have ordered for this year so I am doing a few at a time now. Iris are forgiving.
