we had some goldfish, from 1" long, until 14" long. Boy did they poop. We had to vacuum the gravel every month. They probably ate all the tetras, which were the fish DH wanted most. His tank.

Finally one day I found out Sister got her much longed for outside fish pond and patio. So for her birthday, I suggested we give them to her. She LOVED them. that was two years ago.

When we dumped out all that nasty gravel, I put it into a new iris bed. Boy did they grow well.
