| I had so many new ones this year -- and every one of them was beautiful in some way: richness of color, subtle variations in the falls or standards, ruffles. It was a great Iris year for me. I just went through my photographs, many of which I never got around to posting here, and took another walk through my Iris gardens. I have to say that the one that probably *stopped* me for a long look -- and frequent returns for another look -- was *Arthouse*.  I love the color, the form, the lines on the falls, and the ruffles. I also love the way the color of the beard sort of spills down the center of the falls. This Iris just enchants me.  Every day is a second chance. Every day is precious time. |
