I came across this very interesting article from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture Food & Rural Affairs. It appears that Juglone is very toxic to horses.

I've recently read two articles that say that the dangers of Juglone to equines has been debunked.

Huh - I hadn't heard that. I don't use bedding in my run-in shed *anyway*, but you still want to know about this stuff....

They do use Juglone in worming animals.

Whodda thunk? I wonder what it covers.. (in terms of parasites - we're starting to see some resistance to the typical wormers).
