I just received a little Live Oak tree from the hospice that helped care for my daughter before she passed away in February. What a nice jesture, the Live Oak lives for hundreds of years. Attached was this little poem: Trees, by Joyce Kilmer I think that I shall never see A poem lovely as a tree A tree whose hungry mouth is prest Againsth the earth's sweet flowing breast; A tree that looks at God all day, And lifts her leafy arms to pray; A tree that may in Summer wear A nest of robins in her hair; Upon whose bosom snow has lain; Who intimately lives with rain. Poems are made by fools like me, But only God can make a tree. We planted the tree near the pond and the homeade bench my dh made. This must be where I will plant a memory garden next spring. ![]() Shine Your Light |

I am glad you enjoyed the song, and the "Trees" too bad they have a restriction on showing it here. |
