I waited ,as the sirens made their eerie sound. I saw the leaves blowing fast along the ground, We were being warned, this was no practice drill something more was coming ,that gave us all a chill. The wind picked up, with a roaring sound, Large hail stones hitting the ground, trees fell over like little sticks, houses crumbled to a pile of bricks cars were crushed by trees that fell Nothing was sparred that I could tell. Yet through all this God kept us safe. What was lost can be replaced. No one was hurt, we all survived. We pray "thank God" we are still alive. by Doris |

A storm is but a fleeting thing even havoc it may bring. Beware the storm that lasts and does not recede for that's the one we must heed, This storm may be of mans doing or intent and It's anger it will vent. I will show us of our folly to mess with nature at our peril. Don't mess with things mankind you can't control for this will be our ultimate undoing! Prepared to pay the price I ask? for nuclear bombs and power? No I say your wrong and there I will ring and ring my gong! Take this shat away from our children I feel I must plead with every nation on this earth to abandon anything nuclear right now and gravitate to what is right. our children and there RIGHT!!! |
