| Love is God’s gift to us God gave us love. God gave us love to bring us comfort and happiness. Strong enough to forge a bond When one is miles from the other. Strong enough to cross phone lines and the world wide web. Love is so strong it can hold you up Even when your burdens are heavy. Strong and gentle Sweet and mellow Big bright eyes looking at you Sweet smiling lips on a baby in your arms A tender hand on your arm Tilting little head staring up at you Love surpasses time It only grows and never wavers God’s love saves us Without it our souls would die The giving of love can save you Withholding love can Kill you and those you don’t love. Love pours over you Like a waterfall Your heart is like a little stream tied to the ocean. The more it gives away the bigger it gets. Strong love happy love Love is strength Love is happiness Love can be lifesaving From a spouse, from a child, from a puppy, from a parent, From an aunt or grandparent, Love is lifegiving as breath of the soul., The more love you give, the more your heart holds. If only all love was returned. (How can we not love one another?) If we did all the earth would know true peace. |
