Hi Nancy....
I complained about the week ending too....I wanted more time there.
Here's a part of my brother's yard....you would enjoy the ivy arch.
Thank you!

I may have to go visit your brother!

And that was only one little corner. If you look over the edge of his yard on one side, you'll see a house and road below...

I do see why your heart is there. It's beautiful.

Hmmmmmm.....well, he has a 2 story wood working shop, and higher up there's a tree house, I guess we could pitch a tent beneath a tree or two!
Look at the roots of the tree hugging the greenish rock.....this was taken in the back yard. The lower part is covered in ivy, ajuga and wild ferns.

There goes that warm feeling again. That tree almost appears to be protecting the rock. Great photo!

I wonder if the tree is holding the rock or if the rock is holding the tree in place. As it is, neither has budged for many many years.
I took that photo right into the morning sun, it isn't as clear as I'd like it to be but it does bring with it the peace that I felt.

I love stories like this too and glad I jumped into this thread. I want to go to your home, Sharon!
The IVY ARCH is incredible. Living in the desert, we just don't see the green like this. I am spellbound.

Hi Becky.
I see green all the time, but I was pretty spellbound there too.
My SIL called earlier tonight, asked when I was coming home again...I almost said 'tomorrow'.....it was that incredible.
Thanks, and you can go home with me anytime.
