Wonderful story! I hope you can go back more often. There's something about going home that lays you open to yourself and resets your priorities. I loved the way you expressed that!

You know you hold your own home in your heart when someone else's story twangs the strings that bring joy and sadness, longing and peace. Great job! Thanks for sharing it.

Beautiiful Sharon. I've never seen your Appalachians but I have been in the Rockies. I do know and understand of standing there and listening to the wind and the trees talking to each other in whispers and the perfect understanding that what is below you is NOT all there is.

Thank you for reminding me to remember the times I spent there.
