It was almost as old as the mountains it came from, but that pie safe held much more than pies. It held all the dreams of a little girl, and it held all the scents of her childhood.

My life too. That pie safe will endure many many loving hands and families. Something so special as that will never be abused. If it is it will be resurrected in time and in the right family. I have my grandparents "Triumphe" victrola... the wind up kind. I love it! Some one else will love it one day, too. Thanks for touching me. You are a wonderful story teller!
