|There are no chipmunks here . .. much to my surprise. No rocky cliffs for them to live or hide in. But squirrels, big fat squirrels . . . now they are the bane of my existence. They'll grab a tomato off the vine and come up to the window to make sure I see them eating it. If it weren't for the hot sun here I swear I'd chop down all these trees they live in.
I have so many trees . . most of them I planted over the past 40 years .. . . the squirrels don't even have to touch the ground, they can travel miles from tree to tree, except when they come down for my tomatoes.
