|Just wandered in from DG and found a few familiar names but hope to make new friends here. I have been in KY since 1965, lived in Lexington until I retired in 2004. I owned a concrete technology consulting business. Most of my projects were in KY, but were as far afield as Mexico and China.
Our farm is about 40 miles SE of Lexington, right on the Red River, at the dead end of a gravel road. I love the peace and quiet and am having a ball living in the country for the first time in my life. My house is on the left, eldest daughter lives in the house on the right in the picture. My hobbies include weather and bird watching. Love to cook from scratch and live as frugally and lightly on the land as possible.
Living sustainably comes with learning to see the world in a new way.
