Is anyone still here after the DG fiasco? Hope so as I sure enjoy this Cubit.

The small fry are growing and seem to be hungry all the time. They attack the food pellets even though the pellets are really too big until they soften some.

Question: are Koi or goldfish fry dark in color at first because these are. I am beginning to detect some slight coloration on some of them, though. I am anxious to see what they look like since I highly suspect they are a goldfish/Koi mix.

This is a picture of Mrs. Don and our DIL, enjoying the pond and garden.

how are the baby fish? by now I suspect you have learned that the fish are black when they start out. Any pictures to show us?

They are doing great. There are a few less that I started with, but only because I have sold about fifteen of them to a local pet store. They want all I will sell them. I would sell the remaining fifteen or twenty, but those little suckers are hard to catch. They are getting big. Most are gold, but a few of them kept their dark color. I figured the pet store was selling them as feeder fish, but they're not. The girl told me they are selling them as Comets. Actually, they are very pretty when you can see them from the side in an aquarium.

Here are a couple of shots of my little neighbor girl feeding them.
