Mike,
How did you come about realizing you had to have help with your clutter problem and did you seek any professional help? Do you attribute the need to clutter to any disability that you might have? That is why I posted the question if clutter can be associated with ADD? I think talking to others with same problem helps one face up to their cluttering problem and try to get help with it.

Let me say that I don't think that there is anything wrong in admitting one has a problem and seeking help or find their own solution for it. Please understand that. I am not criticizing anybody.

Pippi21, I am sorry, I just came across this thread, and really don't know why I missed it. I'll bet you think I have a real problem, and maybe your not so wrong. However, I am one of those that when a thought comes across my mind, it runs out my mouth. My clutter problem is like an addiction, and that requires a self evaluation, on an everyday account. Like admitting that we , or I have a problem getting rid of things, and mine smites from "Waste not, Want not", and in my case it was a means of survival. Those were my most formative years, and we were in dire need, but too proud to ask.
Like any, I do Mean ANY addiction, you either face it, and deal with it as necessary as possible, or you cling to the ( Ostrich Syndrome ), and hide it, or so you think. I am of the opinion that most everything can have a solution, if you work at it. It is also my belief that when others are in the same mud hole, what better help can you have, but each other, as long as all are honest, not only with whomever, but also yourself. Remember, you want to avoid that ole "Ostrich syndrome".
Again , my apologies, for missing the whole thread, the only explanation I have, is This is the reason erasers are put on pencils. Mike

Too Cluttered

I have awakened to the realization that I am owned and addicted to my own clutter. I am not at all an expert on much, and certainly not this subject. I feel like if we can just admit that there is a problem..together we can over come. Mike
