I've got my molds for some stepping stones, so far, it is too cold for me to try out the concrete making right now. I've been stocking up on the octogon shaped molds, I think I've got 3 so far of the LARGE ones.. so maybe on a nice weekend here soon, I hope, I can start some.

Jo, did you make your stepping stones using those pizza boxes?

I've got some concrete leaves stepping stones, but nothing in mosaic.

oh i saw those octagon and turtle ones at hobby lobby ..i passed them up because it was 20 out side and i didnt want to torture myself looking at an empty mold. i had a genius idea for the concrete cubit..( i may combine these 2 ill have to see how it goes.). but you just wait and see what i make .. so simple but wonderful.. it will be up hopefully within the week..

any way steppers.. do you have any that are to pretty to step on.. i had this idea for a scene with glass i was just going to press the glass into the wet concrete (using the octagon) and then i thought i wouldnt want to step on it.. do you ever feel like that .. i dont want to be hopping around my garden lol

Wow, Jo, that was fast! I just mailed them on Wed. I made those potholders last year.. Glad you liked them.

I got that turtle one at Hobby Lobby and the big black octagon mold shaped one that is loose. I may just cut out my design out of glass and have it ready for a nice day... I'd like to make three at one time. It will be the first time I use contact paper on the bottom (top) of the stone to place the pieces on before putting the concrete. It is a little intimidating for me. Glare
