Last summer I visited the northern Outer Banks in North Carolina, where the wild mustangs still freely roam the northern end of the barrier island that forms Currituck Sound.

These have been coming for a couple of years-first as newborns, and now, ready to be out on their own.
Yesterday they were keeping cool while soaking up the sunshine.

Mike, we went to Chincoteague Island last summer for the first time, and fell in love with it. They too, have wild ponies. It was so awesome to see them! We have already made a second trip back in November and are planning our big summer vacation there again.
Instead of running after perfection, why not simply walk in faith?

Where is Chincoteague Island? The name alone sounds like a good place to visit.
