I've wanted to upgrade my 400mm lens from a f/5.6 to a f/4.0 (or even better yet, a 2.8), but haven't been able to justify it to myself -- until now, that is. Your photos are really inspiring me!

Karen, that's a great wingspan shot of the eagle and osprey!

Lee Anne, where did you photograph the Great Blue Heron? They're beautiful birds!
