We are reopening the easy to grow co-op in order to make our totals greater to legitimately get the 30% off of all our items.
NO MORE LYCORIS MAY BE ORDERED

the alstros and begonias are still 35% off everything else is 30%

some rules and restrictions from Kathleen
.
A – all of the members agree to having their ship date postposed to begin March 29th AND

B – Susan will help me with the additions on the spreadsheet and order AND

C – all additions are made based upon our current availability as posted to our website AND

D – new orders are finished Wednesday

You cannot order the following
canna Tropicanna,
canna Tropicanna Gold,
astilbe Colorflash and
astilbe Colorflash Lime,
agapanthus Bluestorm
agapnthus Snowstorm.

If you have already ordered these, the discount won't be changed for those, but no further orders will be accepted for these.

Some of the items that we ordered have been sold out now. What we have ordered already has been reserved so those are OK but here is the procedure for ordering now.

YOU MUST GO TO THE WEBSITE and look. If it is still on the website it is NOT sold out. If it is sold out it won't show up so you won't have to worry that you are ordering a sold out item.

spreadsheet

in order to do this we had to agree to postpone the 3/22 shipping date to 3/29. I hope that doesn't cause a problem for anyone.

anyone wanting to change a 4/5 or 4/19 to 3/29 can do so. the 4/5 and 4/19 dates are still good though.

since most of you have paid, we will have to figure out how to handle that, but don't worry about it, I'll make it work.

we need to get additional people in to this also to order if we can. It would make it so much easier to have some new people to take up some of this slack. We are pushing for $1,000 additional or $700 after the discount.

Can we do it????

Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! Thumbs up

????? I thought the 30% discount across the board was based on our orders to date, and now we have to re-open? And not just for a small additional amount, for another thousand dollars worth? While I appreciate that they would like to have a bigger order if possible, that doesn't seem right.

Is there any possibility they'd let us close out this co-op, ship out the goodies, and let us re-open with a follow-up co-op? I'm guessing a second co-op (especially with the same discounted rates) would have no trouble coming up with another $1000 in orders and probably would do even better than that. There are always people showing up a week after a co-op closes wishing they hadn't missed it.

critter i made the mistake. i apologize to everyone. i realize that this may cause a problem for some people and i really am sorry. i misunderstood the terms given to me by kathleen and while easy to grow was willing to honor the deal i thought i had it just wouldn't be right to me.

we asked them how they wanted to handle this and these are the instructions we were given. what i know about that is that all our orders are pulled and set aside. i am assuming they would have to restock and start all over. whatever the reason these are the instructions we have to go by.

if we don't buy an additional 1000.00 easy to grow will still honor the terms that i set forth on the other thread. they just need an additional week to ship everyone's plants since we'll still have this thread open until next wed. and they ship early in the week. i am sorry.

I am completely fine with waiting for the March 29th ship date. That is actually better for me, so I am happy.

I understand a misunderstanding happened, and we will all have to accept that and do our best to help out within the circumstances. I'll see if I can find anyone else who wants to buy some plants.

OK. I don't mind the delay as much as I minded the idea that if we didn't come up with another $1K in orders we'd have to toss the deal... but I have to admit, I'd rather have closed out the co-op as scheduled and had my plants that much sooner.

We've generated a big chunk of business here, and I don't feel like ETGB would get the short end of the stick if no more orders were placed... it's already a win-win situation. But if this is what we're going to do, that that's what we're going to do! I'm not going to pull out over it.

But please assure me that next Wednesday March 24 is a FIRM close date, and we won't keep trying for just a few more orders...

:-)

OK, I've already found somebody who wants more plants... my friend's computer was down, and she missed my email offer to pick up some begonias for her... (I might need to add another light shelf to start all these begonias! LOL)

Please ADD to my order

1 pkg Roseform White Begonia
1 pkg Giant Ruffled White Begonia

I can PayPal additions for convenience (hopefully my total won't go that much higher!).

It was in the upper 60's here. Sunny, light breeze, spring in the air. I cleaned out the perennial garden, raked leaves, opened the door to the greenhouse, all the windows in the house are open.... Oh, I'm sorry - what were you saying Susan?
