 stay tuned for the left over bulb list. susan is getting it together now. ******************************************************************************************* we came from here. http://cubits.org/notfortheserious/thread/view/45199/#top and what I want to see is::: canna queen nursery near austin, texas is going out of business. i talked with the owner today. she has bulbs out the wazoo for sale. lycoris, rain lilies, copper lilies, amaryllis and belladonna. she says she has red, pink, white and yellow lycoris......500 bulbs at least on each. on the rain lilies she has all colors plus copper lilies and prairie sunset specifically. she says she has "over 70 colors on amaryllis" and pink, white and red belladonna lilies. she has 90 days before she has to leave her site. spreadsheet http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AjtJV24Qke7SdGZoYzcw... i might try to get her down on all of these bulbs once i see what we might want but for now prices are as stated below. prices......... lycoris........priced at 3.00 bulb.........red, yellow, pink and white. we can get the red cheaper elsewhere but i think it's a good price on the rest. rain lilies 35 cents a bulb...........you would order by color or you could order prairie sunset or the copper lilies by name. colors are pink, white, yellow, orange and peach. amaryllis belladonna ..........if we buy 100 she would sell them for 2.50 each. you would order pink, white or red. amaryllis...........priced at 3.50 bulb..........she says she has about 100 cybisters left in the mix. you would order red, pink, white, bicolor, green, yellow, maroon, magenta, hot pink, light pink, salmon, cherry red, blood red, orange or cybister. i can't think of 70 colors myself. lol. the amaryllis are in the ground and they bloomed this spring. they vary from apricot size up to grapefruit size. you won't know what size. you get what you get. canna...........75 cents each........you would order with these colors........ yellow, pink, red, orange, salmon, magenta, burnt orange, and these speckled varities.... yellow and orange, pink and yellow, red and yellow\] new addition crinum ..... 3.75 ...most about the size of an orange. you would order with these colors...... pink, white, red, bicolor pink and white, bicolor red and white, bicolor violet and white, magenta, purplish pink louisiana iris........3.00 ...........heidi says there are no solids in the bunch. she says that they are all part of her personal collection and that all are tricolors. she says they are rare and that she has over 50 or 60 different ones. all came from woodland gardens in calif. also she said hers were at least 3 in. long. dietes bicolor.........1.25 growing conditions here http://www.stodels.com/index.php?/dietes-pretty-tough-plants i understand from her that all bulbs are separated into colors. she says her nursery was rated number 1 in the austin area in the last few years. i found her on craig's list and obviously i don't know her or her reputation. i googled her nursery and that's all i could do. that's all the info i have. in essence we buy sight unseen and we get what we get. if we order these i would be receiving them in the next week or so. she will ship to me in flat rate boxes so we'd all share that cost and then of course postage on to you. there is a 2.00 order fee for this sale plus i will charge 5% of your total to pack and ship. that means if you spend 10.00 your total in fees would be 2.50. if your total is 50.00 your total in fees would be 4.50. | crinums have been added up top. 3.75 no matter the color. some of these like the red lycoris and the pink am. belladonna may can be found cheaper somewhere else but heidi gave us a flat price on each type no matter the color. |

| I kept waiting for this to close before my self control wavered. You won. 3 cybisters (do we know how many varieities? I would like one of each) 3 Canna yellow and orange, 3 Canna pink and yellow 3 Canna red and yellow 3 Canna pink 3 Canna salmon 3 Canna magenta Wrap them in a nice blanket before you send them to the freezy north. | I would like to change my order from 6 cybisters to 3 pinkish purple and 3 pink and white crinum. I wanted the cybisters for the Christmas Holidays,(gifts) and I can use the crinum for the Easter Holidays. Thanks for the chance to buy these bulbs! Judy |
