New thread we came from here we came from here http://cubits.org/notfortheserious/thread/view/48728/

Susan will have to move the spreadsheet as she has locked me out of the spreadsheet area. something about not trusting me with HER numbers.

The above statement is not true. :-P she could have copied the link if she had wanted to nah nee nah

Here is the current spreadsheet.

Soon, there will be two spreadsheets divided between people wanting March 28 and people wanting May 9.
Quoting:The spreadsheets are split

March 28 is here http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AjtJV24Qke7SdEpqbVd4...

May 9 is here http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AjtJV24Qke7SdFBneE15...

the combined one is here

There is a 3.00 order fee for this sale and a 60 cent PER ITEM ( a 3-fer is 1 item) packing charge.

Shipping dates from the company to me.
march 28
may 9

I need to make this statement again.............Bluestone will not recognize any one but me should the order go wrong. If when the plants arrive at my house and I deem them satisfactory Bluestone's obligation ends. Last year I prob. had 6 or so plants that were bad when they got here. Bluestone replaced only those plants. Once I sent the rest as far as I can remember no one reported plants arriving dead. There were some reports though of echinacea dying later. One person had several that died I think. There is no recourse from that point. You may not call Bluestone saying your plants died. You will not even be in their system so they will have no record of you or your order. My guarantee to you is that you will have live plants upon receipt only. Just need for everyone to be aware of this.

We have the same discounts this year as last. They are as follows:
3 fers..........50% off
Single plants........25% off
Complete gardens......no further discount. Priced as marked on the site.

When you order please state which shipping date you prefer. If you choose the March date all orders will need to be in by this Sunday.....think it's Mar. 6. As soon as we get the shipping total from Bluestone we will begin the payment portion for the early people only.

If you choose the May date for shipping orders may continue until prob. the end of March. Also if you are a latecomer after we close on Sun. you may still order but after sun there will only be one shipping date most likely. If orders grow to the extent that I am worried I will either close the sale early or ask for a 3rd shipping date from Bluestone.

lovemyhouse is helping me cp. that fact alone makes me giddy.

just so yall understand how this will work at my house....i will receive prob. on thurs. the week of mar. 28. i use outside tables in the shade. i'll separate the plants placing any that don't look good apart. if by that sat. the plants still look good i will prob. load up a few orders that day and begin the shipments. the rest will follow from mon. to wed. the next week. if i don't finish by wed. then the next shipping date will be the next sat.

i will use flat rate boxes, liquor boxes, corn flake boxes, kool aid boxes.....in short i will use supplies that i "find" whether from a walmart stocker's supply or a dumpster. i try to re-use anything i can find in order to avoid buying boxes or wrapping supplies. the only thing i won't re-use are the PEANUTS that bluestone will send. mostly because they are going to be all over my yard.

if there are plants that need to be replaced from bluestone ........i will notify bluestone as soon as i see that something is not doing well. most plants perk by at least the 2nd day if they're going to. i will go ahead and ship to you what i can. and when your replacement plant comes i can either ship it by itself or something else you might have coming from me. we will worry about this when the time comes.

when i pack......i will prob. wrap each 3-fer and each single in a sheet of newspaper and layer the plants in the boxes. and stuff newspaper where i need to. if i need to i may tape the top of the pots to keep the dirt in. i may use plastic walmart sacks to prevent soggy boxes. i will do my best not to pack so that the foliage will be damaged but i make no guarantees about that. the main concern i have is the roots. when i have this many plants the packing can get fast and furious. i will prob. make some mistakes and if i do please just lmk as soon as you know. and i'll do what i can to make it right.

You're a very good driver right?

March ship for me--feel free to combine ship any of my orders if that is in any way helpful or don't--I'm on board with whatever you decide will keep you reasonably sane once packing and shipping starts;)

I think when I placed my order the Heuchera Pretty Polly(?) was on sale--should have ended by now but I'll still take them.

Well, I don't know for certain when a good time for going sane would be, but what with green shoots shootin and buds buddin, spring is definitely not right for sanity - the wilderness is beginning to burgeon, and it's time to celebrate, imho Big Grin
