i would appreciate as many members as possible to write some feedback for the year 2011.
please be honest as that is the only way you can help me. tell me what i did right and what i did wrong. tell me what irks you personally about how i do things. what perturbs you? also let us know about susan's job. tell us how we can improve that too. are the spreadsheets clear? is your money being handled properly?
thanks to everyone for your business and hope 2012 is the best year yet.
I thought you all did a wonderful job on everything. The problems that I had came from outside sources, the two white monsters in the backyard and the fight between the vendors, not from you.
I also feel extremely positive about the many coops I've taken part in (peonies, hostas, hellebores, lilies, etc.). As above, my only problem was with the vendor (in this case the hadeco amaryllis), and I think there were serious weather problems from his vendor. Keep up the good work!
]Mama ~ I am so grateful for all the work you do to get us the best possible price. Your communication is right on I think that you have learned a lot since you first started this endeavor and you have taken all feedback from us buyers as constructive. You have used each suggestion to improve things for all of us. Thank you for that.
I only have one thing - When running a sale some things get dropped sometimes for whatever reason. This is the business of co-op buying I know. Is it possible for you to go back and edit the 'list' post and strike through (not remove) those plants that are dropped. I tend to refer back to that post many times when following the thread. I know Susan color codes things on the spreadsheet but I still get lost with all the colors
9kittymom ~ I don't know how you keep your head strait You must dream of spreadsheets every night. You are the spreadsheet queen in my book. Thank you for keeping up with all the ever changing orders, again I don't know how you do it. If it were me my head would be spinning like the exorcist
Thank you both for all you do
i have enjoyed your co-ops. i like receiving my plants and labels quickly. THIS IS THE BEST CO-OP I HAVE BEEN IN. i'm in several co-ops; have been taken, haven't received plants or money from a co-op on here, another one i'm in you received the plants several months after they receive them.
thank you, for all you and susan do for us gardeners!
This was my first year in this coop group and I was very pleased with the plants that I ordered. My main passion is hostas so I didn't get involved with the other coops, but found the ordering easy and the color coded billing very easy to read! I'm looking forward to 2012!
I know I am new so have very little imput. The one order I was involved with that has been received is the hadeco amaryllis bulbs. The bulbs were shipped in good shape and even when 3 of them misbloomed--not the fault of the co-op, everything looked good. The only issue I have is on a current order. On the eucomis order thread--I ordered 3 Sparkling Rosie and they never appeared on the spreadsheet, so I thought I guess the order wasn't large enough, so I ordered 1 each of the 4 eucomis that are being offered a few days ago (I noticed others had ordered this way), and still not on the order spreadsheet. So, I have taken the hint and will not be placing any more orders. I would like to still receive the hardy hibiscus that I have ordered and paid for, but that is it from me.
whoa Keith, no hint, I just missed your order entirely. I am so very sorry. I will go fix it, Please don't stop ordering. If this happens again, send me a cmail and I will fix it right away. You have to TELL me if I have missed something, or else how will I know I missed it.
I only did two sales. One was Mountain Crest for the semps and one was the EON markers. I read with interest all your sales, but I have limited space and just can't do much more.
I loved the markers. Everything went smoothly. You guys are awesome to work with.
I was not a good match for the semp co op. The ones I was most interested in and tried to order I couldn't get. I hold Mountain Crest more accountable for my disappointment than you guys.
The spreadsheets are confusing for a newbie. I'm glad you guys are so ready to answer questions. That's the important bit. I think you guys do a wonderful job and I would trust your work.
Everything seemed to go well with the co ops I took part in. I really appreciated the instructions for growing the heurcheras. A few of my Amaryllis bulbs have not bloomed true to name, but I know that is not your fault.
We love all the work you and Susan have done for us. The only negative thing I could say would be to concentrate on single plants. Like only Lilies, Peony’s, Roses, Amaryllis etc not a lot of mixed plant and don’t try to order everything in their catalog. We would like one of everything but we don’t need one of everything. You do a lot of extra work for everyone and bend over backwards to help. This is the greatest site to be on I love all the flowers and really enjoy all the wonderful people who join us here. I am still learning new things every day buying plants I have never even heard of. I am glad that things are going a little earlier than last year I know I am on the warm end of things and ready to receive plants by March or April and other people don’t until June or July. I hope this helps and that I don’t sound to negative. If you don’t here from me to much this year I am sorry I am having computer troubles sometimes it takes over an hour to bring up something on the site. I just can’t afford a new computer this year so will have to put up with it for a while longer.I have to agree THIS IS THE BEST CO=OP AND THE BEST PEOPLE WHO RUN IT. Thanks for all you do.
Mama and Susan, you are both awesome. I'm not sure how you keep every thing straight, but it works. Being human like all of us mistakes are made, and you all are first to admit and fix it. I have had no problems with orders. If any flowers are not the right color, so what, if it grows just love it and it will be alright. I'm too old to worry about that. God bless and have a wonderful day. Elaine Susan I still can't get into that spreadsheet but you can let me know what I owe by email. Thanks for trying everything to get me there. We will work on it. Elaine
I've only had wonderful experiences here. I agree about Bluestone but I know you said that is the last time you were going to do it. It seems we could do pretty well directly with them.
I don't buy large quantities and have a pretty full garden so it isn't always worth it or practical for me to join a coop. Also at this point, I want specific plants and some of the plants offered here are not hardy for me.
But I've never had a problem yet. Thank you for all you do. Coops are always fun.
