ok my geranium has bloomed so it is early enough for them to bloom maybe. some years it's a little warm by the time geranium comes. they don't last so long and the flowers look shrivelled. but this year they were beautiful as we were cool and wet.

OK, wrong thread.
I THOUGHT we were talking about that little potted plant that 9kitty posted, which is a begonia, not a geranium......
Neither being hardy here, I often mistake them for each other........

It's my GERANIUM geraniums that I bring in and they bloom through the winter.

Sorry to drag you into my world of confusion there!

well no

Hardiness Zones: 9a, 9b, 10a, 10b, 11a, 11b

but they are easy to winter over, I usually bring mine inside, or just dig up the little pinecone things (bulb, tuber?) and save them.

I like Molten Lava, too.
Glad you answered about hardiness 9kitty, because my googling got answers of "annual".
Does it stay evergreen inside for the winter or will it be waiting in the basement?
