| There are a couple with white-edged leaves that I like a lot. I have one that made it through last winter... hopefully next year it'll take off and form a bigger clump. I really love the big flowers and intricate watercolor look of 'Franz Schubert', but it doesn't see to be one of the toughest varieties, at least not in my garden. They vary in how much trouble they have with powdery mildew... resistance is good! There are also a growing number of dwarf varieties, which I like planting with taller ones as well as on their own in a border... the lower blooms help hide the less attractive stems on the taller phlox plants.
