How can I keep my beloved kitties from playing Ambush in the daylilies? They have them all torn up, leaves shredded and broken off! Is there something harmless but yucky that I can spray on/around the plants?
I do have some Bitter Apple spray made for ferrets, to keep them from chewing on things in one's house, but I don't know if it will harm the cats or the daylilies.

Critter Ridder does wonders for me. It has red pepper in it and the kitties hate it.

Thanks, I will check that out! Oh, no, I don't want them to burn their eyes...I've gotten pepper in my eyes before, and it's torture! I see there is a granular formula--maybe just the smell repels them?

Yes, they don't like the smell. There are homemade recipes, too, that you can find. Have you read the label on your Bitter Apple spray? Doews it work for cats outdoors?
