I heard about this, too. They said the best way to avoid getting salmonella is to wash your hands after feeding your pet.

Of course, the salmonella shouldn't be in pet food in the first place! They said that it doesn't make the pets sick, but I don't believe them.

Another issue with pet food. Now when are they going to ban ALL pet food products made in China? It's not like toxic pet food from China is something new!

I am glad that they will stop selling treats for our pets from China. How heartbreaking it is to hear the terrible news stories on the many deaths that have occurred. I have a 13 year old cat that no longer gets store bought treats. As updates on health etc., arrive on my computer almost daily, it has reminded me to check my own food and produce to see if it was manufactured or came from China also. I was surprised to see where a lot of our food comes from.
